Astral Journey into Timeless Borders
Alberto Di Fabio
May 8–10, 2026
GR Gallery, 116 Chambers Street, New York
From the vastness of deep space to the intricacy of human synapses, Italian artist Alberto Di Fabio arrives in New York with Astral Journey into Timeless Borders, a three-day special project presented with the Avedon Foundation and Yourban2030, alongside the international editorial platform IRAE – This Is Not The End.
On view at GR Gallery in Tribeca, the exhibition transforms imagery inspired by the Hubble Space Telescope into vibrant neural constellations. Galaxies dissolve into networks, stars become impulses—revealing a living system where the cosmos and the human body mirror one another. The result is an immersive pictorial environment: a field of connections where macrocosm and microcosm collapse into a unified, contemporary vision.
A CONVERGENCE OF ART, SCIENCE AND EDITORIAL VISION
The exhibition coincides with the launch of IRAE Issue 4 – Borders, a 200+ page art publication conceived by Yourban2030 and HF4, under the creative direction of Angelo Cricchi and visual editor Valeria Ribaldi. As highlighted in the issue itself, boundaries are explored not as limits, but as spaces of encounter—thresholds where identity, sustainability and human experience intersect .IRAE is not just a magazine, but a platform: bringing together artists, scientists, photographers and thinkers to reflect on the urgencies of our time through powerful visual storytelling.
NEW YORK AS A GLOBAL CROSSING POINT
In New York, the project expands beyond exhibition format. It becomes a statement. At a moment marked by geopolitical fractures, environmental crises and shifting global narratives, Astral Journey into Timeless Borders positions art as a tool to navigate complexity—bridging science, imagination and contemporary realities.New York, in this context, is not just a location, but a meeting point: where disciplines, cultures and perspectives converge to question the present.
